Open your graphics settings in-game, navigate to Shaders, and select LVE Sunward Shaders from the list. The shader will activate immediately, and you'll see the fantasy lighting and water reflections take effect.
Why do my leaves and grass look too bright or washed out?
Check your Brightness setting in Video Settings—the fantasy palette can interact with your monitor brightness. You can also use the Preserve Classic Block Colors guide to dial back the color intensity if the palette feels too saturated for your taste.
Can I use this shader with texture packs?
Yes, LVE Sunward Shaders works with most texture packs, though results depend on whether your pack supports PBR materials. Packs without PBR will still look good but won't show the detailed surface reflections and depth effects.
My caves are too dark even with the ambient lighting on. What do I do?
