Frequently asked questions

How do I transmog my backpack into a different item?
Open the Transmog interface (usually by right-clicking with a Transmog item or accessing it through a Transmog table), select your Traveler's Backpack, and choose the item you want it to look like. The backpack will retain all its storage and functionality while displaying the new item's appearance.
Will my backpack lose its tank rendering after I transmog it?
No, tank rendering and hose modes are preserved during transmog. Your backpack will continue to display and function with these features even after being transmogged into a different item.
Can I transmog my backpack into a completely invisible item?
Yes, you can transmog your backpack into a hidden or invisible item to conceal it entirely. This is useful if you want to carry a backpack without it being visible on your character.
What happens to the items inside my backpack when I transmog it?
All items stored in your backpack remain inside and are not affected by transmog. Only the visual appearance changes; your inventory stays intact.
