Frequently asked questions

How do I stop the scroll wheel from changing my hotbar slots?
Just install NoWheel and it works automatically — the scroll wheel is disabled for hotbar switching by default. If it still switches items, check that the mod is toggled on via its keybind or config.
How do I turn NoWheel on and off?
Use the mod's keybind to toggle it while in-game, or open the config through Cloth Config or ModMenu and flip the toggle there. The keybind lets you quickly re-enable scrolling if you temporarily want it back.
What is the default keybind for NoWheel?
The mod assigns a keybind for toggling, but the exact default key isn't fixed in the docs — check your Controls settings under the NoWheel category to see or rebind it. You can change it to any key you like.
Does NoWheel disable the scroll wheel completely?
No — it only stops the scroll wheel from switching hotbar slots. Scrolling still works everywhere else, like in inventories, chat, and menus.
