Frequently asked questions

How do I open or see the mod loading screen?
It replaces the vanilla loading screen automatically, so you don't need to enable anything — just launch the game and it appears during startup. If you're not seeing it, check that the mod is actually loaded in your mods folder and that no other loading screen mod is overriding it.
Why does the loading screen show mods I don't recognize?
The list reflects every mod and library being loaded, including dependencies and embedded libraries that you never installed directly. Those extra entries are normal and are pulled in by the mods you did install.
How do I know which mod is slowing down my startup?
Watch the progress display during launch and note which mod stays on screen the longest before the bar moves on. That mod is the bottleneck, and you can confirm it by temporarily removing it and comparing startup time.
The loading screen is stuck on one mod, is the game frozen?
Not necessarily — some mods do heavy work like registering blocks, generating data, or scanning files, and the screen will sit on them for a while. If it stays stuck for an unusually long time with no change, that mod is likely the culprit and should be removed or reported.
