Frequently asked questions

What's the best way to prepare before fighting new mobs?
Craft or find the new weapons and armor introduced by MobZ Mod, as vanilla gear won't be as effective against these tougher enemies. Stock up on food and healing items, and consider fighting new mobs during the day first to learn their attack patterns before facing them at night.
Can new mobs spawn during daytime?
Yes, unlike vanilla mobs, MobZ hostile creatures can spawn during the day, which increases the overall difficulty and means you need to stay alert even in daylight.
Where do I find the strongest mobs?
The Badlands (Mesa) biome is a special location where you can encounter powerful zombies and where boss mobs spawn naturally. This is the most dangerous area in the mod.
How do I get the Pillager Totem parts?
Two of the three parts drop from the Archer (Bowman) and the Zombie Mage or Spider Mage when defeated, while the third part is a wooden cutout that you need to obtain separately. Combine all three parts to assemble the totem.
What do I need to summon the Pillager Boss?
Assemble the three Pillager Totem parts, then gather blood by taking damage (you need 5 hearts worth) and use a bloody sacrifice knife on the middle part of the totem. Smoke rising from the totem indicates successful summoning.
How do I summon the Withender?
Build a statue like you would for the Wither, but use Enderman heads instead of Wither skulls, then sneak and right-click on the middle head to complete the summoning.
What does the Wither Staff do?
The Wither Staff is dropped by the Pillager Boss and is used to summon the Withender, one of the mod's most powerful bosses.
How do I make Fiora friendly?
Fiora values gold nuggets and melons; give her enough of these items and she'll become happy and friendly instead of hostile.
What's the difference between regular mobs and the new ones?
New mobs like the Tank, Warrior, and Zombie Mage are significantly more dangerous than vanilla mobs, with higher health, better equipment, and special abilities like summoning puppet zombies or dealing ranged attacks.
How do advancements work in this mod?
The mod tracks the mobs you've killed through advancements, giving you goals to work toward and helping you keep track of which enemies you've defeated.
