Start by exploring Lush Caves and the surrounding overworld, since the mod spawns 14 randomly generated structures above and below ground and overhauls Lush Caves with mini-dungeons and new wildlife. Look for Axolian settlements and merchants first, because trading and completing quest goals is how you unlock better gear later.

Special trades unlock when you complete the mod's advancements and quest goals, and there are 38 of them. Explore, fight, craft and trade with Axolian merchants and Octopus Traders to progress, then check back with the merchants as you complete goals.

Azalin guards the Ring of Chaos in a boss arena deep inside a dungeon chamber, so you'll need to explore the mod's dungeon structures to reach it. Come prepared with your best AxoForge-upgraded weapons and artifacts, because Azalin has its own battle mechanics rather than behaving like a vanilla mob.
