Forbidden and Arcanus Core Mechanics

The mod operates on several unique energy and alignment systems that the player must manage to progress through higher tiers of magic.

Aureal & Corruption

• Aureal: A pure magical energy used for light-themed rituals and utility items like the Quantum Catcher. It can be gained by consuming Aureal Bottles or generated passively using Arcane Crystal Obelisks.
• Corruption: Gained by performing dark rituals or using certain forbidden items. High corruption can lead to negative world effects, though it is often required for high-tier dark magic. Corruption can be cleansed using Purifying Soap.

Soul System

Souls are a vital resource for both the Clibano and the Hephaestus Forge. They come in three primary forms:

1. Soul: Extracted from Soul Sand using a Soul Extractor
2. Corrupt Soul: Obtained by killing a Lost Soul mob, which has a chance to spawn when killing any entity with a weapon enchanted with Soul Looting
3. Enchanted Soul: Created by throwing a Splash Aureal Bottle at a floating Lost Soul before killing it

Blood Collection

Blood is required for many Hephaestus Forge rituals. To collect it, players must hold a Blood Test Tube in their off-hand while killing mobs near the Forge. The blood is then deposited into the Forge's internal reservoir.
