Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on the shader after installing it?
Open Options > Video Settings > Shaders, then select Toon Cel Anime Style from the list and click Apply. The cartoon effect should appear immediately in your world.
The outlines around blocks are too thick/thin. How do I fix this?
Go to Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options and adjust the line thickness slider to your preference. Changes apply in real-time, so you can preview them before confirming.
Can I use this shader with other mods?
Yes, Toon Cel Anime Style works with most mods, but mods that heavily alter lighting or add custom blocks may cause visual conflicts. Test in your world to see if the cartoon style applies correctly to modded content.
Why are my outlines disappearing or looking broken?
Check that your graphics driver is up to date and that you're using a compatible graphics card. If outlines are still missing, try resetting shader options to default in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options.
