The pack works automatically once installed—just load a world and mushroom blocks will display the new variants without any setup required. You don't need to place mushrooms in a special way or use commands.
Will the new mushroom variants appear in existing worlds or only new ones?
The variants will appear in newly generated mushroom biomes, but existing mushroom blocks in old chunks will keep their original appearance until you place new mushrooms or regenerate the terrain.
