Do I need a mod or just the resource pack?
This is a resource pack only—it changes textures and animations but doesn't alter game mechanics, so you don't need to install any mods alongside it. Simply load it in your resource pack folder and enable it in your world or launcher settings.
Why does my portal still look the same after installing?
Make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. If you're in an existing world, try re-entering the portal or reloading the chunks by moving away and back.
Can I use this with other portal-themed resource packs?
Resource packs stack based on load order, so if another pack also modifies portal textures, whichever is loaded last will take priority. You may need to choose one or manually merge them if you want features from both.
Does the animation work on all portal sizes?
