Frequently asked questions

Do I need Optifine or Continuity for this pack to work?
No, this pack works completely standalone right out of the box. You can use it with shader packs if you want, but no other mods or tools are required for the clear glass effect.
Why does my glass still look streaky after installing the pack?
Make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any other glass-related packs in your resource pack list. If you're using multiple packs, lower-ranked ones can override the clear glass textures.
Does this work on stained glass blocks?
Yes, all stained glass colors are updated to have clear, see-through centers while keeping their bright colored borders. The dye colors remain vibrant but no longer block your view.
What about glass panes—do they get the clear treatment too?
Yes, all flat glass panes are updated to match the clean look of the blocks, including both regular and stained glass panes.
Does tinted glass still block light with this pack?
Tinted glass still functions the same way mechanically, but the pack makes it lighter and easier to see through visually while maintaining its light-blocking properties.
Will this pack work after a new Minecraft update?
This pack is a great choice for playing right after updates drop since it doesn't depend on other mods that need time to update. However, you may need to wait for the pack itself to be updated if Minecraft changes glass textures.
Can I use this with shader packs?
Yes, this pack pairs nicely with vanilla shader packs and will make your windows look even better when combined with them.
Does the pack change the appearance of glass in the Nether or End?
The pack applies the same clear glass treatment across all dimensions—any glass blocks or panes you place will have the cleaned-up look everywhere.
Will using this pack affect my game performance?
No, this is a resource pack that only changes textures, so it has no impact on performance or FPS.
Can I see through glass to mobs and players on the other side?
Yes, the clear textures let you see mobs, players, and entities through glass blocks and panes just like you would with vanilla glass, only with a much cleaner appearance.
