Frequently asked questions

Do I need to do anything after installing this pack or does it just work?
The pack works automatically once installed—just load a world and your glass will be clear. Make sure it's positioned above any conflicting texture packs in your resource pack list so its textures take priority.
Why does my glass still have lines and noise even with this pack?
Check that the pack is enabled and ranked above other resource packs in your list. If you're using a mod that adds custom glass blocks with non-standard textures, this pack won't affect those unless they use vanilla glass textures as a base.
Does this work with OptiFine connected textures?
Yes—the pack is designed to work with OptiFine's connected textures feature, which makes multiple glass blocks appear as one seamless pane. Enable connected textures in OptiFine settings for the best window effect.
Can I use this with mods that add new types of glass?
It depends on how the mod textures its glass: if the mod uses standard vanilla glass textures, this pack will clean those up automatically. If the mod uses completely custom textures, you'd need a separate texture update for that mod's glass.
Will this pack work with Continuity instead of OptiFine?
Yes, Continuity supports connected glass textures the same way OptiFine does, so you'll get the seamless window effect with either mod.
How do I make colored glass look clear with this pack?
The pack cleans up all colored glass variants automatically—just place them as you normally would and they'll appear smooth and clear with black outlines. Layer different colored glass panes to create stained glass effects without the pixelated texture.
Does this pack affect glass panes differently than glass blocks?
No—both glass blocks and glass panes get the same clear treatment with black outlines, so you can mix them freely in your builds.
What if I want the glass to be completely invisible instead of slightly visible?
This pack is designed to keep glass slightly visible so it reads as a solid block in your builds; if you want invisible glass, you'd need a different resource pack or to edit this one yourself.
Does this pack affect performance or cause lag?
No—it's just a texture replacement with no code changes, so it has no impact on performance.
Can I use this pack with shaders?
Yes, the pack works with any shader mod since it only changes textures, not rendering mechanics.
