How do I get the paint tool when I first join?
Type /gopaint wand to receive the painting wand directly into your inventory, or ask an admin to give you the default feather tool. Once you have it, left-click to open the brush menu.
Why is my server lagging when I paint large areas?
Go Paint Advanced Plugin runs painting calculations asynchronously by default, so lag shouldn't occur during normal use. If you experience issues, check that your brush size isn't extremely large and confirm the plugin has reloaded with /gopaint reload.
How do I save my brush settings so I don't lose them?
Hold any item in your inventory, then type /gopaint export to save your current brush configuration onto that item. Later, hold the same item and type /gopaint import to load those settings back into your menu.
What's the difference between Paint Brush and Spray Brush?
Paint Brush draws continuous lines when you sneak and right-click, giving you precise control like a traditional brush. Spray Brush scatters materials randomly across your target area with density decreasing from the center, useful for natural-looking terrain.
