Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on the mod after installing it?
Super Fancy Clouds Refabricated activates automatically once installed—you'll see volumetric clouds replace the flat sky immediately. If clouds aren't appearing, check that you're in a dimension with cloud rendering enabled (use `/sfcr help` to see available commands).
Why are my clouds clipping through mountains?
The mod scans chunks to detect tall terrain and shift clouds around it, but this requires the chunk to be fully loaded. Make sure you're not moving too fast or the chunks haven't finished loading; clouds should dodge around peaks once the terrain data is available.
Can I make clouds thicker or thinner in specific biomes?
Yes—the mod detects your current biome and adjusts cloud density automatically (deserts get clear skies, forests get denser clouds). You can customize these settings per biome using the configuration options available through `/sfcr help`.
Do clouds look the same for everyone on my server?
When installed on a multiplayer server, cloud shapes sync across all players so everyone sees identical formations at the same time. This requires the mod to be installed server-side.
