When you first spawn into a world with the mod, you'll be prompted to choose between Witcher, Sorcerer, or another available class. This choice determines your starting abilities and sign access. You can view your current class and progress by pressing U to open the skill tree.

Silver swords deal increased damage to monsters and supernatural beasts, while steel swords are better against human enemies. You'll want to carry both depending on what you're hunting, and you can apply blade oils only to silver swords for extra damage against specific monster families.

No—hostile mobs no longer burn in sunlight during the day with this mod installed, making nighttime the only guaranteed safe period. Plan your hunts and base defense accordingly.

Standard Minecraft death mechanics apply unless you've set a respawn point. Right-click a campfire to set it as your respawn location, so you'll return there instead of your world spawn if you die.

Compatibility depends on the specific mod, but Signcast is designed to work alongside most content mods. Avoid running multiple mods that heavily overhaul combat or sign systems, as they may conflict.

Open your bestiary to view the monster's stats and lore—it will show which damage types it's weak to. Match your blade oil to that weakness, then right-click your silver sword while holding the oil to coat it.
