Do I have to enable keep inventory before starting?
Yes—turn on the keep inventory game rule before you begin playing. The mod's bosses and enemies deal heavy damage, and losing your items on death makes progression extremely difficult.
How do I parry attacks?
Press G right before an enemy hits you to parry their attack, which blocks damage and knocks them back while resetting your parry cooldown. Watch for visual flashes and listen for sound cues to know when a strong instant-kill attack is incoming.
What's the difference between a regular attack and a strong attack?
Strong attacks from enemies trigger a visual flash and sound cue before they hit—these are instant-kill moves that you must parry to survive. Regular attacks deal normal damage and don't require the same timing precision.
How do I get to Scyphozia?
Craft a Void Heart relic and use it to safely travel to the Scyphozia dimension. This relic is essential for exploring that area without losing your items.
Can I bring friends to the Eternal Gale?
Yes—use a Light Hook near your friends to enter the Eternal Gale together. The Light Hook also lets you keep your items if you die in that dimension.
How do I summon bosses?
Craft a Chime of Challenge to fight Duke Ishamon Erisia, Maestro Evengarde Rest, and The Ferryman; combine boss drops to make a Chime of Enmity for the Enmity Trial; read the Grimoire of the Crimson Contract to battle Chaser; or find an Idol of Ethiron in chests to summon the Scion of Ethiron in New Kyrsa.
What do I do with Kyrsan Medallions?
Collect Kyrsan Medallions from Kyrsan Brutes to craft golden apples and enchanted golden apples for healing, or combine them with iron to make Pluripotent Alloy for strong weapons.
How do I get Umbrite Ingots?
Defeat the Warden to obtain Umbrite Ingots, which you can use to craft enmity armor.
What happens when I defeat a mob?
You regain missing health points every time you defeat a mob, giving you a way to sustain yourself during extended combat.
Can I leave a custom dimension without a Phoenix Down?
A Phoenix Down relic lets you instantly return to the Surface from any custom dimension, but you can also use other methods like the Light Hook or dimension portals depending on where you are.
