How do I get the book of dragons?
You receive the Book of Dragons automatically when you first join a world with the mod installed. If you lose it, use the command /bookdob to get another copy. The book contains detailed information about all dragon types and their behaviors.
What do I need to tame a dragon?
You need fish to tame most dragons—approach them slowly and feed them until the taming progress bar above their head fills up. Different dragon types may require different amounts of fish, so patience is key.
How do I ride a dragon after taming?
Once tamed, right-click on your dragon to mount it. You can then use WASD to control flight, and the dragon will respond to your movement inputs while airborne.
What is cruise mode and turbo mode?
These are special flight modes that change how your dragon travels—cruise mode provides steady, controlled flight while turbo mode lets you fly faster. Check the Book of Dragons or your keybinds to see which keys activate each mode.
How do I use the dragon staff?
The Dragon Staff lets you command your tamed dragons and teleport them to your location. Equip it and interact with your dragon to access its commands.
Why is my dragon on fire and how do I stop it?
Some dragons breathe fire during combat or when excited. Throw a splash water potion on your dragon to extinguish the flames and cool it down.
How do I get a night fury?
Night Furies are much harder to tame than other dragons and are designed as a late-game reward, so you'll need to progress further and gather more resources before attempting to tame one.
Can I put a terrible terror on my shoulder?
Yes, Terrible Terrors are small enough to perch on your shoulders, and they'll display special effects when they do. This is a cosmetic feature that doesn't affect gameplay.
How do I upgrade hooligan tools to belzium gear?
Use a smithing table with your Hooligan tools and a Belzium template to upgrade them into stronger Belzium gear. The smithing table will combine these items into improved equipment.
