The mod works automatically once installed—no configuration needed. Every shulker you kill will drop two shells by default.
Does this mod work in the Nether or only the End?
Shulkers only spawn naturally in End cities, so you'll need to travel to the End to hunt them. The mod doesn't change where shulkers spawn, only what they drop.
Can I use one shulker to make a shulker box now?
Yes—since shulkers now drop two shells and a shulker box recipe requires two shells, killing a single shulker gives you exactly enough materials for one box.
