Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install CyanLib separately or does it come with other mods?
CyanLib is a required library that must be installed separately in your mods folder. If you're using mods from Aeldit's collection, they will not load without CyanLib present, and you'll see an error message listing it as a missing dependency.
Where do I find the mod configuration screen?
Open the in-game pause menu and look for a "Mod Menu" or "Config" button (the exact label depends on your mod loader). From there, you can locate CyanLib and access its configuration options directly without editing files.
Can I edit the config file manually or do I have to use the in-game screen?
You can edit the config file manually if you prefer—it's stored in your config folder. However, using the in-game configuration screen is safer and easier since it prevents syntax errors and applies changes without requiring a restart.
What does 'custom translations' mean and how do I change my mod language?
CyanLib allows mods built on it to display text in different languages. You can change the language through the mod's configuration screen or by editing the language setting in the config file, and the change applies to all Aeldit mods using this library.
