What is the Interface block used for?

How do I upgrade my Colossal Chest to a better material?
Use the Chest Upgrade Tool on the Colossal Chest to convert it to a higher-tier material. The chest must be empty or the upgrade will not apply.
How do I downgrade a Colossal Chest?
