You need access to a stonecutter, which is a vanilla block. Place one down and interact with it to see all the stone variations you can craft from your vanilla stone blocks—no special recipes or crafting table needed.
Can I make stairs and slabs from every stone type in this mod?
Most stone variations can be crafted into stairs, slabs, and walls, but not all of them. Check the stonecutter interface for each block to see which forms are available.
What stone types does Stoneworks add variations for?
The mod adds variations for all vanilla stone types, including stone, deepslate, blackstone, and other stone variants already in Minecraft. Each gets the full treatment with cobbled versions, bricks, tiles, pillars, shingles, and more.

Everything is crafted directly in the stonecutter—no special recipes or additional crafting tables required. Just place your stone block in the stonecutter and select the variation you want.
