Overview

Connected Textures (CTM) is a client-side mod that makes adjacent blocks of the same type blend into one continuous, seamless surface instead of showing a repeating grid of individual block faces. A wall of glass becomes a single clean pane; a row of bookshelves becomes one long shelf; large sandstone or stone-brick structures lose their tiled look.

It works by reading connection metadata that resource packs supply, then choosing the correct edge/corner texture for each block based on its neighbors. Because it is purely visual and client-side, it is safe to use on multiplayer servers - it changes nothing about the world, only how blocks are drawn on your screen.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Fusion mod actually change in my game?
It changes only how blocks look on your screen, removing the grid lines between identical blocks so they appear as one large piece. It does not change gameplay or world data.
Can I use this mod on a normal multiplayer server?
Yes, because it only alters the graphics on your own screen, so you can play with it safely on normal multiplayer servers.
How does the mod know which blocks should connect together?
It reads special files from your resource packs to determine exactly how blocks should connect.
What connection styles does it include?
It includes different connection styles such as horizontal, vertical, top, and edge borders.
