Overview
Sophisticated Wolves is a major enhancement mod designed to transform the vanilla Minecraft wolf into a more capable, intelligent, and durable companion. While vanilla wolves are often prone to accidental death and limited utility, this mod introduces a sophisticated AI system that allows wolves to navigate hazards, better manage combat, and interact with new functional items.
The mod focuses on three core pillars: Survival, Utility, and Customization. Wolves will no longer blindly walk into lava or off cliffs, and players are given tools like Dog Beds and specialized Treats to manage their pets' health and home locations. In the latest versions (1.21.1+), the mod seamlessly integrates with vanilla wolf variants while applying its enhanced logic to all of them.
