Frequently asked questions

Why does my shaded font look blurry or hard to read?
Shaded fonts can appear less crisp than default text, especially at small sizes or on bright backgrounds. Try adjusting your GUI scale in Video Settings or enabling the readability guide in the resource pack options if available.
Can I use Shaded Font with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, but load order matters—place Shaded Font higher in your resource pack list if you want its font to take priority, or lower if you want another pack's font to override it. Test in-game to see which arrangement you prefer.
Does Shaded Font work on signs and books?
Yes, Shaded Font replaces text across all text rendering in Minecraft, including signs, books, chat, and menus. The shaded effect applies consistently wherever text appears.
How do I change the color of the shaded font?
Open the resource pack's font configuration files (usually in the assets folder) and edit the color values in the font JSON or PNG files, then reload your resource packs in-game to see changes.
