How do I enable Vulkan rendering for this mod?
Open Video Settings from the main menu, find and enable the "Prefer Vulkan (Experimental)" option, then restart your game. Minecraft will boot using the Vulkan backend instead of OpenGL.
Do I need to download special shader packs or can I use my existing ones?
You can use your existing OptiFine-format shader packs directly—just place the zip files in your shaderpacks folder as usual. The mod translates the GLSL code to Vulkan automatically when the game starts.
What is FSR and how do I use it?
FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) is an upscaling feature that boosts your frame rate by rendering at a lower resolution and scaling up the image. Adjust the FSR Render Scale slider in Video Settings between 25 and 100 percent; lower values give higher frame rates but softer visuals.
Why are blocks and mobs disappearing when I use Chloride with this mod?
Chloride's entity and block distance culling features conflict with Vulkanic Light Engine. Turn off Fast Chests, Fast Beds, Max Entity Distance, Max Monster Distance, and Max Block Entity Distance in Chloride's settings to fix this.
