researchDataAllowLearnedAllow Already-Learned WeaponsAllow Data to give duplicates of weapons the player already knows. If off, processing is blocked only when no eligible weapons remain. Item-specific datapack rules can override this.
researchDataAllowUndiscoveredAllow Undiscovered WeaponsAllow Data to target weapons the player has not found yet. If off, only discovered weapons are eligible unless a datapack overrides this.

ammoCraftingStrategyAmmo CraftingChoose how Crafting Workbench levels apply to ammo. This does not add ammo to the Tech Tree
analyzerSetupAnalyzer setupTiered uses three stations. Single lets any Analyzer process every weapon tier using that weapon’s same-tier reward rules. Datapacks still set costs and rewards. Changing this reloads recipes and closes open research stations.

researchPointCapBanked RP CapMaximum banked RP. This cap does not limit physical currency stacks.

analyzerBlueprint AnalyzerChoose how duplicate blueprints and found weapons are used. Datapacks set weapon-tier odds, fragment amounts, analysis costs, and reconstruction requirements.

Frequently asked questions

How do I start the mod? Where do I find my first blueprint?
Search loot chests across the world—blueprints, Scrap, and Research Data spawn naturally in various structures. Once you find a blueprint, right-click it in your hand to permanently learn that weapon's recipe. Your learned recipes stay with you permanently, even across dimensions and server restarts.
What's the difference between Research Notes, Reports, and Dossiers?
Research Notes unlock Tier 1 weapons, Research Reports unlock Tier 1 and Tier 2 weapons, and Research Dossiers unlock all three tiers. Use the appropriate tier of Research Data with a Blueprint Analyzer to recover weapon blueprints or fragments matching that tier.
Do I need to find every blueprint or can I research them?
You can do both. Found blueprints teach recipes instantly, but you can also unlock weapon nodes on the tech tree by spending Scrap at a Research Bench. The tech tree shows prerequisites—some weapons require you to research other weapons first.
How do I use the Blueprint Analyzer?
Place it using two adjacent blocks, then insert a recovered firearm or Research Data. The Analyzer breaks down the item into blueprint fragments or complete blueprints based on the item type and your luck. Combine matching fragments at the Analyzer to rebuild a full blueprint if you don't get lucky on the first try.
What Workbench tier do I need to craft a specific gun?
Check the weapon's details in the tech tree or Blueprint Journal—each firearm is assigned to Tier 1, 2, or 3. You must craft at the matching tier Workbench; a Tier 1 gun cannot be crafted at a Tier 3 Workbench.
Can I plan my research path before spending Scrap?
Yes. Open the tech tree at a Research Bench and use the zoom, search, and branch navigation tools to explore weapon nodes and their prerequisites. The minimap and node pathing show you exactly what you need to research to unlock your target weapons.
Do my learned blueprints stay if I die or restart the server?
Yes, learned blueprints are permanently tied to your character and persist across deaths, dimension changes, and server restarts. You never lose a recipe once you've learned it.
What should I do if I'm stuck and don't know what to research next?
Check your Blueprint Journal for guide tips and completion percentage. The tech tree shows prerequisite connections between nodes—follow the branches backward from your target weapon to see what you need to unlock first.
Can I create my own custom tech tree?
Yes, use the /researchdesigner command to open the in-game tech tree editor. You can build and export custom progression paths for multiplayer servers or personal use.
Why can't I craft a gun even though I learned the blueprint?
Make sure you're using the correct tier Workbench for that weapon. Check the tech tree or Blueprint Journal to confirm the weapon's tier, and verify you have all required crafting materials in your inventory.
