Frequently asked questions

How do I start editing an item with this mod?
Hold the item you want to edit in your hand and type /edit in chat. The command will target the item in your main hand and open editing options for its properties.
Can I edit items in my inventory or do they have to be in my hand?
The item must be in your main hand (not in your inventory) for the /edit command to work. Move the item to your hand slot before running the command.
What's the difference between &k and ȷ for formatting?
&k applies vanilla Minecraft formatting codes like bold, italic, and strikethrough. ȷ is used to apply hex color codes directly to your text for custom colors.
How do I add a space in item names or lore when spaces are normally used to separate arguments?
Use &_ to represent a space in your text. For example, /edit name Hello&_World will create the name "Hello World".
