Frequently asked questions

How do I find flowers in the world?
Flowers spawn naturally across different biomes like deserts, meadows, and forests. Walk around exploring and look for the new flower types like Pansies, Foxgloves, and Crown Cacti growing in the grass and dirt.
What flowers can I cross-pollinate together?
You can cross-pollinate compatible flowers by placing two or three of them next to each other in dirt, and they'll naturally grow a new color variant nearby over time. Not all flowers can breed with each other—experiment to find which combinations work.
How do I make a Bloom Basket?
Craft a Bloom Basket using three wooden planks, any dirt block, and three sticks arranged on top in a crafting table. Once crafted, you can place flowers inside it to create portable decorations.
Can I move a Bloom Basket with a flower already planted in it?
Yes, you can pick up a Bloom Basket with a flower still inside and carry it to a new location. This makes it easy to rearrange your garden decorations without losing the plants.
How do I plant a flower in a Bloom Basket?
Hold a flower in your hand and right-click on an empty Bloom Basket to plant it inside. Right-click the basket with an empty hand to remove the flower again.
Are there rare flowers I can only get through breeding?
Yes, the mod includes rare seasonal plants like special Halloween hybrid flowers that only appear when you cross-pollinate the right flower combinations. Experiment with different placements to discover these exclusive variants.
Do I need to water or fertilize flowers to make them grow?
No, flowers cross-pollinate and grow new colors naturally over time when placed next to compatible flowers—you don't need to water or fertilize them.
Can I plant flowers in regular flower pots or only Bloom Baskets?
The mod adds the Bloom Basket as a special decorative container for flowers. You can still place individual flowers on dirt blocks for cross-pollination, but Bloom Baskets are the portable option.
What biomes should I explore to find all the flower types?
Flowers generate across deserts, meadows, forests, and other biomes, so explore different terrain types to find the full variety of Pansies, Foxgloves, Crown Cacti, and other new plants.
Do I need any other mods for this to work?
This is a Fabric mod, so you need Fabric Loader installed, but Serene Shrubbery Fabric Mod works standalone without requiring other mods to function.
