Frequently asked questions

How do I open loot bags in the LootBags Mod?
Place a Bag Opener and put your loot bags into it to open them and receive the rewards inside. You can also open bags by hand in some setups, but the Bag Opener is the intended block for bulk opening.
What do I need to get started with the LootBags Mod?
Craft a Bag Opener first, since it's the core block for turning bags into loot. Once you have bags dropping from mobs or other sources, feed them into the opener to start collecting rewards.
Where do loot bags come from?
Loot bags drop as rewards from mobs and other sources configured by the mod or by datapacks and modpacks. Different bag types correspond to different loot tables, so what you get depends on which bag you open.
How does the bag opener work?
The Bag Opener consumes loot bags placed or piped into it and outputs the rolled rewards, either into its own inventory or to an adjacent container. You can automate it with hoppers or pipes to process bags continuously.
