How do I get to the void dimension?
Craft the mod's special block, place it down, and right-click it while holding an Ender Pearl. You'll be teleported straight into your own empty void dimension.
How do I get back to the Overworld from the void?
Build a return portal or use the same block-and-Ender-Pearl method to travel back. If you're stuck, dying in the void respawns you at your normal spawn point.
Why did I fall into the void immediately after teleporting in?
The platform only generates on your first entry, so if you removed it or spawned outside its bounds you'll fall. Re-enter or rebuild a platform before stepping off the edge.
Does every player get their own void dimension?
Yes, each player has a separate personal void dimension, so your builds won't clash with anyone else's. This makes it ideal for private bases or storage.
Can I change the size and material of the platform?
Yes, both are configurable in the mod's config file. Adjust the platform size and block material there, and the change applies the next time a platform generates.
Can I sleep in the void dimension?
By default sleeping may be disabled, but there's a config option to allow it. Enable that setting and beds will work normally in your void dimension.
Can I build a base in the void dimension?
Absolutely, that's the main use of the mod. Bring your own blocks and build freely on the platform or extend outward, since there's no terrain to get in the way.
Do mobs spawn in the void dimension?
Normally no, since there's no terrain for them to spawn on. If you build a dark platform, though, normal hostile mob spawning rules can apply.
Is this mod compatible with other dimension or portal mods?
It generally works alongside other mods since it uses its own separate dimension. Conflicts are rare, but if another mod overrides dimension IDs you may need to adjust configs.
Does the void dimension cause lag or performance issues?
No, it's actually very light on performance because there's almost nothing to render. It can even be less demanding than the Overworld since there's no terrain or weather.
