Frequently asked questions

Where do I find fossils?
Fossils spawn underground at various depths throughout your world. Mine stone and deepslate blocks in caves or dig down to discover them—they appear as special fossil blocks that look distinct from regular stone.
How do I extract DNA from a fossil?
Place the fossil block into the DNA Extractor machine along with the required materials. The machine will process it and produce DNA samples that you can use for cloning.
What do I need to grow a dinosaur?
You need DNA samples and an Incubator or Cloning Lab machine. Place the DNA into the machine with the required power and materials, and it will gradually grow a living dinosaur.
How long does it take to hatch a dinosaur?
Hatching time varies by species and depends on the machine's power supply. Larger dinosaurs take longer than smaller ones, so patience is required for your biggest creatures.
What kind of fence stops dinosaurs from escaping?
Use reinforced or specialized dinosaur fencing blocks—regular Minecraft fences won't hold them. Build your enclosure tall and sturdy, especially for large carnivores that can break weaker barriers.
Do I need to feed my dinosaurs?
Yes, dinosaurs require food based on their diet. Carnivores need meat, herbivores need plants and vegetation, and you must provide adequate food or they'll become aggressive or escape.
