How to Enable Sleeping in the Void Dimension

Why Sleeping Fails by Default

In most dimensions added by mods, beds explode or refuse to work because the dimension is not flagged as a valid sleeping area. The void dimension behaves the same way until you change its config. If you try to sleep and nothing happens, that is the setting you need to fix, not a broken bed.

Turn On the Sleep Option

Open the mod's config file in your instance's config folder. Find the option that controls whether players can sleep in the void dimension and set it to enabled. Save the file. This flag tells the game to treat the void dimension as a place where beds function normally instead of being unusable.

Restart and Test

Fully restart Minecraft so the config takes effect. Enter your void dimension, place a bed on your platform, and try to sleep through the night. With the option enabled, the bed should work like it does in the Overworld. This is handy if you use the void as a permanent base and want to skip nights or set your respawn point there. Remember that sleeping only works if it is actually night or a thunderstorm in that dimension's time cycle.
