Frequently asked questions

How do I know if the mod is actually working?
Plant a Farmer's Delight crop and watch its growth over a season change. If the mod is active, growth speed will visibly differ between seasons instead of staying constant. You can also check that the crop's growth stage advances faster in its preferred season and stalls or slows in the wrong one.
Which season makes Farmer's Delight crops grow fastest?
Most Farmer's Delight crops grow fastest in spring and summer, with slower growth in autumn and the slowest or stalled growth in winter. The exact per-crop preferences follow the mod's seasonal mapping, so check each crop's behavior in-game rather than assuming all crops share one season.
Do crops die in winter or just grow slowly?
In most cases they slow down or stop growing rather than dying outright, so existing plants usually survive. If you want continuous harvests through winter, plan around greenhouses, light sources, or crops that tolerate cold seasons.
Can I grow crops out of season at all?
Yes, but growth is much slower and may effectively pause depending on the crop and season. Out-of-season farming is possible but inefficient, so it's usually better to rotate crops or use protected growing spaces.
