Why are there so many mobs at night with this mod?
Dusk Mod gradually increases the monster spawn cap as night progresses, peaking around midnight, then decreasing toward dawn. This makes nights progressively more dangerous and challenging to survive.
When can I sleep to skip the night?
By default, you can only sleep once it's later in the night than vanilla Minecraft allows—the mod delays when beds become usable. You can adjust this timing in the config file, or disable sleeping entirely if you want to survive the full night.
Do I need to install this mod on my client?
No, Dusk Mod only needs to be installed on the server. Clients connecting to a server running it will experience the increased difficulty without needing the mod themselves.
Can I customize how many mobs spawn?
Yes, the mod has config options to adjust the monster cap increase during night and the total monster cap in the world. You can also control the time interval over which mobs gradually spawn.
