Frequently asked questions

How do I start with End Remastered?
You don't craft the vanilla Eye of Ender anymore — instead you need to collect the mod's custom eyes from their respective sources. Start by exploring structures like dungeons, mineshafts, and witch huts to find the new eye variants.
How many eyes do I need to activate the End portal?
The End portal still has the same number of frame slots as vanilla, but you must fill them with a mix of the mod's custom eyes rather than vanilla Eyes of Ender. Check the portal frame to see which eyes it accepts.
Can I still use vanilla Eyes of Ender in End Remastered?
No — End Remastered replaces the vanilla Eye of Ender's role in portal activation with its own variants. Vanilla Eyes of Ender can no longer be placed into End portal frames.
Where do I find the Exotic Eye?
The Exotic Eye is typically found as loot in jungle temples and other rare structure chests. Bring plenty of exploration gear, since it's one of the harder eyes to come across.
