How to Activate the End Portal with End Remastered Eyes

End Remastered changes how you open the End portal: instead of filling every frame slot with a plain Eye of Ender, you must place each of the mod's unique eyes into the portal frame.

What you need

You need one of each unique eye added by the mod — the Exotic Eye, Undead Eye, and Witch Eye — plus enough plain Eyes of Ender to fill the remaining frame slots. Each unique eye can only be placed once, so duplicates won't help.

Steps

1. Locate a Stronghold and find the End portal room.

2. Right-click each empty frame slot with an eye. Place your unique End Remastered eyes into the frames first so you don't waste plain Eyes of Ender on slots they need.

3. Fill any remaining slots with normal Eyes of Ender.

4. Once every frame slot is filled, the portal activates and you can jump in.

Tips

• If a frame rejects an eye, that eye has already been used elsewhere in the frame — check which unique eyes are still missing.
• Bring spare plain Eyes of Ender in case some break when thrown during Stronghold hunting.
