How to Get the Exotic Eye in End Remastered

The Exotic Eye is one of the harder eyes to track down because it isn't tied to a normal overworld structure. You'll need to leave the overworld entirely to find it.

Where to look

Travel to the Nether and search for a Bastion Remnant. The Exotic Eye is found as loot inside Bastion chests, so you'll need to fight or sneak your way through the bastion's rooms and open the chests you find there. Because bastion loot is randomized, you may need to check more than one bastion before you get the eye.

Practical tips

• Bring gold armor or at least some gold items so Piglins don't attack you on sight while you loot.
• Bastions are dangerous — bring good gear, blocks to bridge with, and a way to escape.
• If you're playing with other players, split up to check multiple bastions faster.

Once you have the Exotic Eye, it functions like a normal Eye of Ender for locating and activating the End portal, but it's one of the required unique eyes in the End Remastered progression.
