Frequently asked questions

How do I transfer an enchantment from my sword to a book?
Place your enchanted sword and an empty book in the transfer interface (check your guides for the exact setup). The mod will show you the experience cost required, and once you confirm, the enchantment moves to the book and the sword loses it.
Can I transfer enchantments from tools like pickaxes?
Yes, the mod works with any enchanted item—weapons, tools, armor, and more. The transfer process is the same regardless of item type.
What happens if I transfer multiple enchantments at once?
You can transfer all enchantments from a single item to books in one operation, but each enchantment requires its own book and contributes to the total experience cost.
Why does transferring cost experience?
The mod balances transfers by consuming experience to prevent the feature from being too powerful. You can adjust these costs in the config file to match your preferred difficulty.
