Frequently asked questions

Why does my single glass block look weird?
Single glass blocks have their borders removed just like connected glass, which can make them appear flat or unusual when placed alone. This is a trade-off of the resource pack—borders are removed from all glass to achieve the seamless connected effect, and there's no way to detect isolated blocks within vanilla Minecraft's limitations.
How do I make a glass window that looks completely seamless?
Place glass blocks adjacent to each other in any pattern (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal arrangements all work). The resource pack automatically removes borders between connected glass blocks, creating a continuous, frameless appearance.
Does this work with tinted glass?
Yes, tinted glass is treated the same way as regular glass—borders are removed and it connects seamlessly with other tinted glass blocks placed next to it.
Can I use this resource pack with Optifine or Continuity?
No, you should not use this pack alongside Optifine's connected textures or the Continuity mod, as they all modify glass appearance and will conflict with each other. Choose one solution instead.
Will this affect my FPS or performance?
Resource packs have minimal performance impact compared to mods. This pack should run smoothly on most systems since it only changes textures, not game mechanics.
How do I make glass structures look good if single blocks look odd?
Avoid placing isolated glass blocks; instead, build glass structures where blocks connect to each other—large windows, glass walls, or glass roofs all look seamless. Use other materials like frames or trim around single glass blocks if you need them for decoration.
Does this work with stained glass?
Yes, all types of stained glass connect seamlessly with other stained glass of the same color when placed adjacent to each other.
Can I see through glass better with this pack?
Visibility is improved because the dark borders that normally frame each glass block are removed, giving you a clearer view through large glass structures without the grid pattern interrupting your sight lines.
What if I want the borders back on some glass?
This resource pack removes borders from all glass blocks, and there's no built-in toggle. If you need borders on certain blocks, you'd need to use a different resource pack or create a custom version.
Does this work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use this on any server without needing permission or affecting other players' views.
