Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on the resource pack?
Open your world or server, go to Settings > Resource Packs, find Fake Hardcore Heart Resource Pack in the available list, and move it to the active section. The pack will apply immediately to your health bar.
Does this actually make me play on hardcore difficulty?
No, this pack only changes how your health hearts look visually. Your actual game difficulty setting stays the same, so you won't lose your world when you die.
Can I use this on multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so other players won't be affected and servers won't block it. Only you will see the hardcore-style hearts.
Will my friends see the fake hardcore hearts too?
No, they'll only see the hearts on your screen. Other players see your health bar as normal red hearts unless they also install the same resource pack.
