Frequently asked questions

Do players get a starter kit every time they respawn?
No, starter kits are only given once when a player joins the world for the first time. Dying and respawning will not award new kits, but you can configure the mod to give kits to returning players if desired.
How do I change what items are in the starter kit?
You can customize the starter kit contents by editing the mod's configuration file. The guide 'Customize the Starter Kit Contents' walks through which settings to modify and how to add or remove items.
Can I give different starter kits to players in different game modes?
Yes, the mod supports setting up different kits for different game modes. See the 'Set Up Different Kits for Different Game Modes' guide for instructions on configuring mode-specific kits.
A player didn't receive their starter kit. What should I do?
Check the 'Troubleshoot Missing Starter Kit Items' guide, which covers common causes like inventory being full, configuration errors, or players joining before the mod loaded. You may need to manually give them items or reset their first-join status.
