Frequently asked questions

Do I need to do anything to activate this mod after installing it?
No, the mod works automatically once installed. Sculk shriekers will immediately start responding to all sounds detected by sculk sensors without any configuration needed.
What counts as a sound that triggers sculk sensors now?
With this mod, any sound detected by a sculk sensor can trigger a shrieker—this includes mob sounds, block breaking, footsteps from any entity, and environmental noises, not just player-made sounds.
Will this mod cause wardens to spawn more often?
Yes, because sculk shriekers now respond to more sounds, wardens have more opportunities to spawn. You'll need to be more careful around sculk sensors or take steps to muffle sounds in those areas.
How do I prevent unwanted warden spawns if I'm using sculk sensors?
You can isolate sculk sensors with sound-dampening blocks, use them in areas away from shriekers, or build your sensor network in a controlled environment where you manage what sounds occur nearby.
