How do I craft a backpack?
Craft a backpack at a crafting table using leather. The exact recipe and materials needed can be found in your crafting menu or JEI/NEI if you have it installed.
Can I wear my backpack and still use my chestplate?
If you have Curios or Trinkets installed, you can wear the backpack in a dedicated accessory slot while keeping your chestplate equipped. Otherwise, the backpack occupies your chestplate slot.
