Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a regular Totem of Undying into a custom skin totem?
Place an Anvil, put a Totem of Undying in the left slot, type a valid Minecraft Java username into the name field, and take the renamed totem from the output slot. The mod will download that player's skin and display it on the totem in your inventory.
What happens if I rename a totem to a player name that doesn't exist?
The totem will show a loading preview while the mod tries to find the skin, then fall back to a default texture if the username cannot be resolved. You can set a custom fallback skin in the mod settings to control what it looks like.
Can I use these custom totems on multiplayer servers?
Yes, the mod is entirely client-side, so you can use custom skin totems on any multiplayer server without needing the server to install or support the mod.
My totem skin looks wrong or didn't load. How do I fix it?
Open the mod's in-game config menu and use the 'Refresh All Totems' option to reload textures for every totem in the world, or 'Refresh Inventory Totems' to reload only the ones you're carrying.
