Frequently asked questions

How do I start restricting items after installing the mod?
Create or edit the mod's configuration file to define which items you want to restrict and what actions to block (crafting, smelting, brewing, repair, placement, breaking, or combat). The config uses item IDs and action types that you specify for each restriction rule.
Can I restrict an item from being crafted but still allow it to be found or given?
Yes. Crafting restrictions only prevent the item from being made in a crafting table or similar interface—players can still obtain it through other means like mining, looting, or commands.
Do block interaction restrictions work with all tools?
Block interaction restrictions apply to the specific items you configure. If you restrict a pickaxe from breaking stone, only that pickaxe is blocked; other tools can still break stone normally.
What happens if a player tries to use a restricted item in combat?
If you've set a combat restriction on that item, the attack will be prevented and the player won't be able to harm the target mob or player with it.
