Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on the item counter display?
The mod displays item counts by default in your hotbar once installed. If you don't see numbers on your items, check that the HUD is enabled in the mod's configuration settings.
Why does my counter show different numbers for the same item?
This happens when metadata checking is enabled—the mod treats items with different metadata (like tools with different durability) as separate types. Disable metadata checking in the config if you want all variants of an item counted together.
Can I hide the item count for specific items?
You can customize which items display counts by adjusting the display order settings in the mod's configuration, effectively hiding items you don't want to track by moving them out of the active display list.
What's the difference between horizontal and vertical display modes?
Horizontal mode stacks the item count numbers left-to-right across your hotbar, while vertical mode displays them top-to-bottom; choose whichever fits your screen layout better.
