Frequently asked questions

How do I start using FTB Backups 3?
Install the mod, then open your world. The mod works automatically—you just need to configure how often backups should run using the settings. Check the mod's config file or in-game settings menu to set your backup interval and preferences.
Can I make a backup right now without waiting for the timer?
Yes, type the manual backup command in chat during gameplay and the mod will create a backup immediately. You'll see a progress bar on your screen showing when it's complete.
Where does the mod save my backups?
Backups are stored in a dedicated folder within your world directory, organized in a standard format so they're easy to find and manage. The exact path depends on your installation, but they stay separate from your active world files.
How do I load an old backup to restore my world?
Go to the world selection menu and use the mod's restore option to browse your available backups. Select the version you want and the mod will load it—you don't need to close the game or manually move files.
