Do I need to start a new world to see the new biomes?
Yes, you need to create a new world after installing the mod to generate the new biomes and terrain features. Existing worlds won't have these biomes in already-explored chunks, though new chunks at the world border will include them.
What's the difference between the new cave biomes?
Frozen Caves appear in cold regions with ice and snow-themed blocks, Warm Caves generate in temperate areas with different stone and mineral distributions, and Inferno Caves spawn in hot biomes with unique volcanic features. Each has distinct aesthetics and resource availability.
Why are my oceans not deeper?
Ocean depth changes only apply to newly generated chunks; existing ocean areas won't be affected. Explore further out from your spawn point or travel to ungenerated areas to see the deeper oceans.
Can I find the new biomes near my spawn?
The new biomes generate according to the mod's biome placement rules, so they may not appear immediately near spawn. Travel outward to explore—biomes like Shrublands, Bog, and Oasis are distributed throughout the world like vanilla biomes.
