How do I craft a repair stand?
Craft a stand using the appropriate material tier (wood, copper, iron, gold, diamond, or netherite) in the crafting recipe for your desired stand type—weapon, tool, or armor. Place it in your base and it's ready to use immediately.
Can I repair items without a stand?
No, repair stands are the only way this mod fixes items. You must place damaged gear directly onto the stand block to begin the healing process.
Why isn't my stand repairing anything?
Wood tier stands do not repair items at all—you need at least a copper stand to begin repairs. If you're using copper or higher, make sure the item is actually placed on the stand and check that the stand has enough space around it to function.
How do I upgrade my stand to a higher tier?
Surround your stand with 8 blocks of the next tier material (for example, copper blocks around a wood stand). The stand will upgrade automatically, and your item keeps its repair progress and stays in place during the upgrade.
What's the fastest way to repair multiple items?
Build multiple netherite stands (the fastest tier at ~10 minutes per item) and place one damaged item on each stand simultaneously. This lets you repair several pieces in parallel rather than waiting for items to finish one at a time.
Can I move a stand after placing it?
Yes, you can break and pick up a stand; your item will drop safely and the stand's upgrade tier is preserved when you place it elsewhere.
Do stands work on enchanted items?
Stands repair durability damage only—enchantments are preserved and unaffected by the repair process.
Can I use stands to repair items with Mending?
Stands repair items independently of the Mending enchantment, so you can use them on any damaged gear regardless of enchantments.
How long does it take to repair a full armor set?
The armor stand repairs each piece individually at the same speed as the stand's tier—for example, a diamond armor stand takes ~30 minutes per piece, so a full set takes roughly 2 hours total.
Do stands consume resources or experience to repair?
No, stands repair items for free with no cost—no experience points, no materials, and no anvil wear.
