Repurposed Structures generates new village types and structures across different biomes in the Overworld, End, and Nether, replacing the vanilla village layouts with themed variants. When paired with the Farmer's Delight compatibility pack, villages also feature new crop types and compost buildings that fit the farming theme.
Do I need Farmer's Delight installed to use this mod?
The base Repurposed Structures mod works on its own and generates new villages without requiring Farmer's Delight. The Farmer's Delight compatibility datapack only activates if you have Farmer's Delight installed, and adds farming-themed content to villages.
How do I find villages generated by this mod?
Villages spawn naturally during world generation in the same way vanilla villages do—explore biomes and look for clusters of buildings. The mod replaces vanilla village generation, so any village you find will be a Repurposed Structures variant matching that biome's theme.
Will this mod work on a world I already created?
Villages only generate in chunks that haven't been explored yet, so existing villages in your world won't change. You'll see new Repurposed Structures villages only when you explore new terrain or travel to ungenerated areas.
